Vimala to join Afra Tafari sets in July

Confirming her Bollywood debut with Govinda starrer Afra Tafari, a situational comedy directed by Haad Ali Abbrar,

actress Vimala Raman's spokesperson said that she will join the film's sets on July 17.

Vimala Raman is paired opposite Govinda in this film, which also stars several Bollywood biggies including Suniel Shetty, Arya Babbar, Gulshan Grover and Mugdha Godse.

The spokesperson said, "It's a typical Govinda film with a high dose of comedy. She's happy that her character has a lot of depth and will give her scope to perform. Looks like Vimala, who has a string of films lined up for release in Tollywood, is all set to make a mark in B-town as well!"
